Seven people drowned in regions of Kazakhstan

ASTANA. July 19. KAZINFORM Seven people drowned while swimming in the regions of the country, Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry's press service.

A 27-year-old man drowned at 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday (July 18) near Abylai Khan Avenue in Astana. The body was taken out of the water by Astana Emergencies crew at 3:45 p.m.

A 33-year-old man drowned while swimming near Chimulak dam at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday (July 17) in the town of Yereimentau in Akmola region. His body was pulled out of the water by a rescue team at 8:15 on Wednesday (July 18).

Another man drowned in the Ural River at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday (July 18). The body was taken out of the water at 7:00 p.m. by an emergencies crew of West Kazakhstan region.

A child, 7, drowned while swimming in the Nura River at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday (July 17) in Petrovka village of Karaganda region. The body was pulled out of the water only on Wednesday (July 18) at 3:45 p.m.

A body of a young man, thought to be in his 20s, was found at 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday (July 18) in Kostanay. He drowned in the Tobol River near Gagarin dam at 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday (July 17).

A body of a 26-year-old man who drowned while swimming in North Kazakhstan region was taken out of the water at 7:37 p.m.

A 35-year-old man drowned in the Ishim River at 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday (July 18) in Petropavlovsk.  The body was pulled out of the water the same day at 11:44 by a rescue crew.
