Kazakhstani youth develops business ideas

PAVLODAR. July 18. KAZINFORM Pavlodar Startup Weekend was held at the Innovative University of Eurasia last weekend, university's press service reports.

The event brought together students from Astana, Karaganda, Kostanay, Bishkek and Pavlodar who represented 27 business ideas. These ideas embrace various sectors of business from entertainment and tourism business to alternative energy sources and thermal energy. The authors were asked to develop business plans based on their ideas within three days.

The developers were advised by business experts boasting great experience and knowledge in their sphere. A panel chaired by rep of Atameken Business Union Rakhim Oshakbayev evaluated business projects.

A team of the Innovative University of Eurasia 'Metall Master' was awarded with a certificate worth KZT 200 000 for their project of mechanics shop working at call.

A KZT 100 000 prize went to Ata aul team consisting of students of the Engineering Academy of the university.
