ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In 2014 720 jobs were created in the framework of the Industrialization Map state program in Akmola region, Akmola region Internal Policy Department reports.

According to preliminary data, gross regional product for the first time exceeded 1 trillion tenge. Physical index of industrial production reached 105.6% or more than 295 billion tenge. Ten investment projects worth over 17 billion tenge have been implemented within the framework of the Industrialization Map. As of January 1, 2015 the number of active small and medium-sized businesses in the region has increased by 0.6% compared to the same period of the last year. As part of "Business Road Map - 2020" program to support private enterprises, 98 projects worth more than 11 billion tenge have been approved. The region harvested 4.5 million tons of grain. Gross yield of oilseeds, pulses, potatoes and vegetables has increased. Livestock population increased by 104.2 percent and the production of major products - by 103.8 percent. To improve living conditions of the population Akbulak program implemented projects for construction, reconstruction and repair of water supply systems in 25 villages and two towns of the region. Moreover 268 square meters of housing have been commissioned in 2014. More than 1 thousand families received residential houses in the region. Results of "Salamatty Kazakhstan" program, aimed at healthcare development, show positive dynamics of basic health and demographic indicators. In comparison with 2013 total mortality decreased by 6%, mortality from cardiovascular diseases - by 20%, the incidence of tuberculosis - by 10.5%, mortality from tuberculosis - by 9%, infant mortality decreased by 33%, maternal mortality decreased by 2 times, all-cause mortality - by 5.9%.
