FUTURE STARTS TODAY: We must create conditions for mature work of every citizen – «Kazakhstan- 2050» Strategy

TARAZ. December 3. KAZINFORM - According to the policy of "Kazakhstan-2050’’ Strategy" setting out new principles of social policy, the State guarantees citizens the minimum social standards especially in the context of the global crisis.

"The main task is to prevent the growth of poverty. Poverty should not be a social perspective for any citizen of Kazakhstan. We must have a clear program of training and retraining of unemployed linked to labor market needs. The state should provide social support to the unemployed.

It is important to create the conditions under which employers will be actively involved in the work of socially vulnerable groups ensuring their wages. First of all, it concerns people with disabilities. We must create the conditions for their full employment. Public benefits should receive only those who can not work", emphasized the Head of State.

During the recent working visit to Zhambyl region the President Nursultan Nazarbayev raised the issue of employment in the Taraz city. According to the department of employment and social programs from the beginning of "Roadmap employment" prgram implementation 4342 people have been sent for training. After training 2676 persons were employed. Training of 1 person costs state treasury KZT 14 123, retraining up to KZT 17 481, monthly study grant amounts to KZT 12,188, accommodation is KZT 17,310 and plus travel expenses. Those who took advantage of all the benefits but did not come to work will have to return the money the state spent.
