Second Olympic gold for Alexander Vinokourov?

ASTANA. June 25. KAZINFORM It seems like German bicycle rider Jan Ullrich will be stripped off his gold and silver medals he won at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.

If the 39-year-old Ullrich is found guilty of undergoing Dr. Eufemiano Fuentes treatment at the start of the Sydney Olympic Games, Alexander Vinokourov will get gold, as he came second in that road race.

It is worth mentioning, the German athlete was previously banned by the CAS panel for two years in February 2012 and stripped off of all titles he had had since 1 May 2005 for blood doping.
