ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov has visited sales outlets, exchange offices and filling stations in Astana today, Kazinform refers to primeminister.kz.

Yesterday he held a telephone conference, during which instructed the state agencies to prevent unjustified rise in prices for essential goods, and also stressed the need to control the implementation of the National Bank's resolution concerning the maximum deviation of the buying rate from the selling rate of foreign currency. Serik Akhmetov familiarized with the range of products and prices at "Alem" market and "Alma" shopping mall, visited a number of exchange offices, and "Nomad Oil" filling stations. The Prime Minister instructed state agencies to "establish a daily monitoring of the situation in the regional markets and promptly respond to problems."

"This work is to be done not only in regional centers and cities, but also reach every locality," Akhmetov stressed.
